Hikari walked with Tabby up to their new dorm, and she held Jake, a fluffy cat, in her arms as her best friend unlocked the door and walked inside. Hikari followed her in and took in the room. She smiled and her eyes widened. It looked so cool...
Both sides of the room were a complete mirror of eachother, but one side was completely white, and the other side, the one with the window, was completely purple. There was a bed, a small dresser, and a mirror on both sides, with two side tables in between the two beds. From where she was standing in the doorway, the window was directly in front of her, and under it was the purple bed, the white bed against the wall beside the door. Between the two beds, on her left side, were the two side tables, and on her right were the two dressers, side by side. The mirrors were up on the wall on opposite sides of the room, next to the foot of the two beds. There was a fair amount of space in the middle of the room, between the two beds, and on the floor in that space was a plush rug, half white (on the purple side of the room) and half purple (on the white side of the room).
She absolutely loved this room. She herself chose the white bed, and Tabby simultaneously chose the purple, placing their bags on the rug. Tabby hopped onto the bed, testing out the softness. Hikari chuckled and plopped Jake down on her angel wing-white comforter, and he curled up on the soft surface, purring and falling asleep. Hikari sat down next to him and smiled at Tabby.
"It's really nice in here. Want me to help you unpack? Or should we just chill for a bit? It's been a long day..." She said, falling back on the bed and closing her eyes. It had been a lot to take in, but she felt like as long as she didn't run into too many mean people, she'd really like it here. "It's up to you, I'm ok with anything..."
She opened her eyes enough to locate her side table, and placed the bottle of soda that Matt had given her for Jake. She couldn't for the life of her understand why a cat would like soda, but Matt said it was his favorite, so she figured it was ok. She let her own bag fall to the floor next to her bed, and waited for Tabby's response.
