Personality:
Hikari is a very quiet soul. Since she's very seldom noticed by anyone, she's barely developed any social skills, and therefore is very shy, except for when she's with her best friend, Tabbatha. Despite her lack of social expertiece, Hikari is a very kind person, and she is hesitant to do anyone harm, unless they harm her or someone she cares about. She tends to keep to herself when she's not with Tabby, and she can be easy to frighten, so she tends to hide when there are big crowds.
Concerning her loves, fears and hobbies, Hikari has very few. She can't remember anything of her past life, and therefore, she only knows that which she's experienced in her time as a ghost. She only really knows of her love for the night sky, ice cream, reading, and cute boys (if she weren't so shy, she'd probably be a bit of a flirt), and as for fears, she simply fears spiders, being lonely, and a bit ironically, big crowds; however, it is often in big crowds where one feels the most lonely...As for hobbies, Hikari simply does what Tabby does. She does enjoy reading and listening to Tabby's music in her spare time, but for the most part, whatever Tabby's doing, she does as well.
Whenever someone asks her about her past, Hikari always seems to lose a bit of life and avoid the questions, as if it pains her to think about it. In truth, it does. She hates not knowing the kind of person she used to be, and she's always wanted to know just what happened to her to cause her to become a ghost...

Looks/Physical Description:
Hikari is, due to being a ghost, very pale. She has long, wavy blond hair to compliment this, which frames her soft, cherubic face. She has very light blue eyes, often clouded with sadness or uncertainty, shadowed by long eyelashes. She has a very petit and slim figure, due to not eating much, which gives her a young aura and an innocent overall look, which is pretty true.
Clothes-wise, Hikari tends to wear cute summer dresses (usually blue or white) in the warm seasons of the year, or skinny jeans and comfortable (usually baggy) t-shirts. She likes wearing converses and flip-flops, and tends to stay more on the comfortable side than the fashionable.

Hikari died of a severe accident on her 17th birthday and came back as a ghost, unfulfilled. Her cause of death is at best cloudy and unclear, but she vaguely remembers a sense of falling. Falling and reaching up at something, anything, and only seeing the sky above, the harsh, harsh sun beating down on her as she met her untimely demise. She has no idea why she's still on earth, but every day she tries to get closer to figuring it out. Due to the amnesia caused by her death, the young ghost knows nothing of her past life. She yearns to remember, but will most likely always find her past a mystery. She only ever gains small snippets of her past, here and there, but it's all random and she can never piece it together. A flash of a smile here, a fleeting glimpse of a place or a person. She hopes to use her new chance at life to create a beautiful, new past, but so far she'd had little success. That is, until she met her friend Tabbatha. Tabby, a young girl who can sense spirits, found her wandering aimlessly in complete misery and took her under her wing, so to speak. They became fast friends, since Hikari had no others in her new life, and Tabby protected her from the fears and sorrows she'd faced while being lonely.
It had happened quite suddenly, and unexpectedly, as Hikari was walking down a lonely rode, void of life, while she was wondering just what the point of her being on earth was, and what she would do while she was still there. A miserable looking girl with long dark hair was walking toward her in the street, eyes focused right on hers. This was enough to cause Hikari to freeze, shock written all over her face as the girl approached her. Could...could that girl see her? No one had before, unless they looked upon her with fear or scorn. Was this one any different? Fear began to cloud her heart, and she was about to turn tail and run when she felt another pair of eyes on her. She turned to see a man walking towards her and the other girl, sneering at them, though fear haunted the backs of his eyes. She could tell this wasn't going to end well. She heard the man mutter something like "demon girl" under his breath, and she whimpered. So thiswas going to be like all the other times...
"HEY!"
A voice stopped Hikari in her tracks as she turned to leave. A strong, kind voice. She turned back towards the man, only to see the dark haired girl standing in front of her, hands on her hips, tears in the corners of her eyes, and lips set in an angry frown. She reached back and took Hikari's hand, startling her.
"I.am.SICK, of people like you going around calling people "freaks" or "demons", just because they're different than you!" She screamed at the man, who blinked, shocked that the girl had the guts to stand up for anyone, or anything. The girl turned to Hikari, eyes glistening. "People like me, people like her. We're different, but no less human than anyone else on this earth." she turned back towards the man. "So if you want to go around acting like you're better than everyone else, go ahead. But I won't stand here and just take it like it's ok. Come on, friend. We're leaving."
And with that, the girl drew Hikari away, and they left the man, and their worries, behind them that day. And they've been friends ever since.
Tabby and Hikari spent two years bonding after their initial meeting, and Hikari absolutely never leaves her friend's side, being too shy and wary of other people. In return, Tabby protects her from others, and offers her needed friendship. Though many can't see Hikari, the few who can get either scared or angry at her, so Tabby's friendship with her is more dear to her than anything else, however long or short their friendship has been.
Due to their close bond, most of Hikari's story is tied together with Tabby's, and they met just a couple years before Tabby applied to go to the new supernatural school. Therefore, Hikari was bound to apply with her. Tabby convinced her that by going to the school, she'd be able to grow and get over her lonelieness. They plan to grow together and write a new story for themselves as the years go by, and they begin their lives at the new school.

Minor ice/freezing powers, and general ghosty powers (fading/controlling visibility/controlling solidity, gliding over the ground, etc.); Since she can't blush or get any paler or green, or anything, the aura around her changes color based on her mood (i.e., red when mad, blue when sad, pink when embarrassed/talking to boys/in love/etc.)
