Personality:
Ra can be incredibly blunt to a fault. He has no problem saying what he thinks should be said and often doesn't care if it hurts the feelings of others. He is arrogant at times, believing himself above the other students and even teachers at Xorinthia.
But deep beneath all of that, Ra has a loving side. He can be very kind and sweet to those that he cares about. He doesn't care about many people but for those who make it in, they're his world. He doesn't show that in public, he considers it a weakness and a disadvantage.
He can seem very nonchalant and indifferent to many things, considering he believes them to be beneath him and thus does not care. There is a part of him that aches to learn about the world and makes friends but he has become so jaded over time that he has a hard time believing that anyone on Earth could possibly be a good person.

Looks/Physical Description:
Ra is a 6 foot tall Egyptian with brown eyes and brown hair shaved on either side and plaited into micro braids that run clear down his back and often adorned with beads. He often wears kohl around his eyes and hardly ever wears a shirt, preferring to adorn himself with a simple necklace and a shendyt (Egyptian "skirt").
In the sun and when he is feeling any strong emotion, Ra's skin turns golden. When he flies, Ra has the ability to transform into a falcon or form an impressive pair of falcon wings on his back. He had been known to carry an Ankh and a crook and flail with him. He often walks barefoot or with a pair of old handmade sandals.
Backstory:
Ra-Horakhty is the Egyptian God of all Egpytian Gods. He is the combination of Horus, the falcon God and Amun-Ra, the sun God. He was born in Egypt thousands of years ago when the pharaohs still ruled and the pyramids had not all been built yet. He created himself, or so Ancient Egyptian legend tells. They called him the king because he was all seeing much like the rising sun. Ra-Horakhty came later than the preliminary Gods such as Anubis or Osiris.
In his day, when he was still very young, Ra was a great pharaoh and was highly thought of. He was not naive, but he was young and inexperienced in the leadership and decision-making that was required of a ruler. His temper led him to make decisions that caused Egypt to war and led to discontent among the other Gods and peoples of Egypt. After many follies he resigned his position and took to the sky to see what he could learn about the world and perhaps become a better ruler for his subjects. He never predicted the downfall of the old kingdom. This saddened him. He spent many a millennium mourning for his home as he watched the once great palaces and pyramids crumble before him.
He watched his home be disrespected by tomb raiders, tourists, and adventurers seeking fame and fortune. By that time the belief in the Gods of the old kingdom had diminished to a few tribes throughout the sands of Egypt. Ra's sorrow turned to anger at what the human race had done to his home.
He cursed all that first entered the sacred tombs of the pharaohs and their families. Many of the adventurers had no respect for the artifacts and the reverence with which the pharaohs were buried and thus Ra cursed them to die a horrible death.
The other Gods had grown tired of Ra's wrath and anger over the years and held a tribunal to discuss what to do about the young God's temperament. They decided to send him to the Xorinthia Academy to teach him humility and stave off his temper.
Abilities: Ra has the power to create fire because he is the sun God. He can also transform into a falcon and if he wishes, form falcon wings on his human body and fly. His all-seeing eye gives him an insight to people's feelings, thoughts, and past and sometimes even future but he has little control over this.
