Personality: James is a very down to earth guy he doesnt believe that because of his blood he is higher than others and is willing to get down and dirty to help. He can be very defensive and possessive at times but he will be within reason. For the most part he likes to have time to himself but after the school he learned that time can be spent with those you trust and care for. The fact he has lived for a while has shaped the way he thinks about life and he cherishes the moments he has and of those he has close because he knows for some he will out live them many times over. He can have laser focus most the time when it comes to tasks he puts his mind to but once he forgets its nearly impossible to remember once hes forgotten.Overall he a nice guy that will help those in need and is against violence unless its a last resort.

Looks/Physical Description:
He is around 6'2" at 200 pounds ,has brown hair and he likes to keep it a clean bit not high maintenance. He has blues/gray eyes even thought he is a noble the 5% of human in him makes him look like a 100% human so unless you can smell,or know how a noble or even a vampire looks like you would have no idea he was one. He wears blue jeans and every day shirt and jacket to look like an average joe when he is out in the streets and so that he can be there when ever he is needed.
He also keeps little packs on his belt that contain crystals and crystal powder that he can make into anything.He also wear sunglasses that have multiple uses:one is sunglasses,binoculars,heat reading,x-ray, and has a HUD so that he can just change between the modes and it links wireless to his head that has a small chip in it to control the glasses. the only down side is that if he uses them for longer that 18hrs then he will have a migraine from the chip over heating.
Backstory:
James was born to his father Vincent Carter and his mother Morgan Kiri His father was only 17 at the time and his mother was…. Well she was quite a bit older than him and most humans since she was a pure blood. James grew up like any other kid at the time and both of his parents raised him happily. He started ageing slowly at around 12 years old, about the same time his powers became noticeable to him. Both his father and mother noticed it but his father thought it was just a birth defect and just went on in life. As he got older he asked his mother why he looked younger that what he was. She told him secretly that he was a noble which was basically a vampire but with some human blood still in his body. He was fascinated by this but was told to not tell his father. So he kept the secret between the two of them and he was around 25-27 years old when he saw that he could control the crystals in his house. He learned to use his power with some motherly help and trained himself as much as he could. One day when James was out with his mother helping with some groceries and getting some home improvement equipment his father was killed in a hover car incident. Both he and his mother were saddened by the news of what happened.(He was 43 at the time) He continued to grow up but still at a slowish rate even though he was as old as a middle aged man he was still just a kid in comparison to what he was. He was taken to Vampire meetings because he wasn’t able to be left alone because of his age. He lived a normal life just acting like any other person he learned more about what he was and about anything he could.
He observed fights and he even fought in a few but he hated it. One night when James was 73 at a meeting that was discussing about the king that was in SR, on that night his mom met a man named Nathan Pierce and he showed the same interest about the subject. He was a average tall man around 6-6’2 with blonde hair and blue/green eyes James at first impressions though he was a alright guy and his mom took a sort of like to him. After the meeting he asked his mom if she would like to join him for dinner some time and she said she would be happy to go sometime. It started out like the usual way dating starts just a few dinners and some time together. James went with them a few times out but mostly would be at home testing his powers and going around the city hanging out with people. This when on for a while and they finally made the decision to move in together. James didn’t mind he liked Nathan a bit he would take him to some Nerf tournaments that were held as a tradition that was made a long time ago. His powers grew quickly over the years as he preacticed with them learning what crystals required the least amount of energy but were still effective for what ever life could throw at him. Consentration was key to his training as he learns to take a crystal and mold it to his will chaping them from anything like a key to a knife. He also learned that aside from shaping crystal he could also launch it like a projectile, this took many years to perfect this ability. His most common thing to do is take crystal dust and make mini tornados with them, making it shine in the sunlight.
They lived together with James for around 14 years and one year his mom came up to him with Nathan and said “We have some great news you’re going to have a baby sister soon” James was a mix of happy, and curiosity(even at his old age lol)James was happy when Kaya came into the world and he would play around with her a lot and when she found out about what she was James was just as happy. He would listen to his sister sing and told her she was great a lot. At the talent show when Kaya won first place. (Oh and yes this part of history is mostly about his sis Kaya lol) He was happy when he found out about Kaya’s becoming famous fast but was very defensive with Kaya being hit on by Ren who was the guy that helped her get to the big times by being her manager, despite them being the same age.James kept telling him to leave her alone but he kept doing it. James wasn’t used to the Paparazzi and all the flashing lights so when he went to the pet store with Kaya she got him a dwarf kitty and he named it Packet. On the way put they were mobbed by the press and James had to back away from them because of how unused to the cameras and lights. So he stays in the back ground a lot of the time but makes sure he can still watch over Kaya. He helps out Kaya as much as he can and when he was avoiding the paparazzi he ran into a kid named Connor and they became close friends going around the streets hanging out when James wasn’t with his sister. One day James was going back to his house from playing around with Connor when he saw him get jumped. He was too far away and he was unable to concentrate for his powers so he watched as Connor took hit after hit and suddenly he went ballistic on the guys there. James was surprised as Connor took out the dudes and passed out. He was going to help but some strangers took Connor away. James was sad for his loss and he set out to get his mind off the matter of losing his friend and how his searches were in vain. He found a school for the gifted and supernatural and enrolled into it. He worked on his skills and learned to work with others as well as to trust them with his feelings and not keep to himself. His time there was fairly average he didnt face many problems in the school nor did he use his blood to be higher than others in the school unlike a few nobles that thought themselves higher. He never started fight or got into any real trouble not to say he didnt have fun and break a few rules but made sure to not go to far with it. After he graduated from the school he decided to stick around to help with any fiances and to help with anything that needs to be done.
Abilities:Because he is a noble and is only 5% human he is a roughly 10x faster and stronger than humans.He is nearly as strong and fast as a pure blood he is able to control any type of crystal in the world.He is able to shape it into what he needs if there is several to help with it being less of a power drain. He is able to make it almost out of thin air since he keeps a pack of power crystal and a pack of larger crystals.He can only use his power so much before he begins to get weaker and will start to use just his speed and strength. His powers are in proportion to his speed strength, and stamina.
