Zyro is a fun loving person with a few "minor" problems. While for the most part he is a calm and collected individual, he is actually pretty timid and could be scared or distracted easily. He tends to stay away from conflicts as he neither wishes to get hurt, or let his power run rampant. He can be snapped out of his fear or his distractions if he sees some one in trouble or hurt, especially if they're female. He is highly overprotective of things or people who matter to him and with jump in to help them without a thought of his own well-being.
One of Zyro's major problems is that the is a tremendous klutz. he will trip over anything, bump into anything, and has even been known to be distracted reading a sign and run into it... knocking himself out cold. One of the major things Zyro hates is insults. They irritate him rather quickly, and can cause him to lose control under certain circumstances. Zyro refuses to tolerate bullies, and while he despises scuffles, he will jump in between the bully and victim.

Looks/Physical Description:
Zyro has pale skin, neck length black hair and red eyes that changes in brightness depending on his mood. He is six feet tall exactly with a skinny, yet wiry build. Although he is a vampire, his father was human, which means that Zyro himself is not as strong as the average vampire. Zyro has a black gauntlet on his left arm that allows him to control his powers... to a point. He does not have to live on blood due to his heritage, and very much prefers not to due to the taste of blood spinning his powers out of control.
Backstory:
Zyro was born from a Human male named Connor Tsukaima, who was serving in the military, and a Vampire mother Named Zybril Tsukaima. For the first ten years Zyro had both of his loving parents until his father had to go overseas for an assignment. While he was gone, he disappeared and Zyro was raised by his loving mother in both the ways of humanity, and Vampirism.
Around the age of seven, Zyro learned he had his powers when he accidentally injured a fifteen year old boy who was bullying him, demanding for mere pocket change, by nearly strangling him to death with his own shadow. If Zybril hadn't noticed and stepped in, the boy would have been killed. The next day his mother disappeared without a word for a few weeks after the incident, and when she came back, gave him the gauntlet. She didn't say too much about it until an incident had occurred again when Zyro was seventeen, when another bully decided to pull a knife on him in high school for being "different" not knowing that Zyro was a vampire, was put in in the hospital for his troubles.
Zybril then explained to Zyro that the gauntlet that resides on his arm is a legendary item that allows a vampire who is born of a human and vampire to channel the excess power when the vampiric half is stronger than the human half, and the body of the vampire is only as strong as a human's and the power within that body is too much to handle, which is an incredibly rare occurrence and can cause unnatural side effects, such as Zyro's control over shadows, and if is not handled properly has the possibility of killing the vampire, usually destroying them from the inside out..
Zybril then explained that the reason Zyro was one of these rare vampires was because that Zybril was weakened by an rare vampiric illness during the time of her pregnancy, which under normal circumstances wouldn't have posed a problem, but because Zyro's father was human, the enigma occurred.
Zyro learned of Xorinthia academy when it was suggested to his mother by someone who worked there. Not having much more of an idea as to what to do, she asked her son if he wanted to give that a try. He accepted her offer and began his life at Xorinthia.
Abilities: Zyro has the power to manipulate shadows to his will allowing him to use people's own shadows, his own, or any other to do his bidding. this includes possession, manipulating them into 3D objects, creating a clone of the person he is using the shadow from, etc. He's still learning himself. The gauntlet on his left arm works into this as well as a seal/catalyst so as to not allow his power to get out of control and kill either himself or others. The problem with his power is that it uses an insane amount of his stamina to do this for an extended period of time, and in the first place he's barely stronger than a human, even thought he's a vampire. It also requires an immense amount of concentration, and Zyro is easily scared and/or distracted. But when he does get in the zone, his concentration is nigh unbreakable. At night however, due to the insane amount of shadows, he can't risk using his power, or else he could lose control completely.
Zyro can also heal incredibly fast, making his klutzy nature more bearable.
If Zyro tastes blood, his power can become uncontrollable as his vampire side will take over, so he tends to avoid blood... and has been for so long that he began despising it.
