Ame has a small frame, and stands at a whopping 4'9". Her hair takes up most of the length of her body, going down to her mid-thigh, and is a very light blonde. Her eyes are light blue, and her skin has a light tan as well.
She normally wears excessively dark make up, or insane make up that looks like it's meant for a costume. Her outfits are very similar, keeping close to a Tim Burton style (Dark, stripes, corsets). However, when sitting around in her room or when she feel too lazy to do her makeup or accentuated look, she will put on light makeup and comfortable clothes. She has low self-confidence, and tries to hide herself underneath the crazy make up and outfits.
Ame's piercings include her bellybutton, snakebites (two above her upper lip), two in each ear lobe, and two on the upper part of her ear. She doesn't wear them all every day though.

Ame is pretty cold at first, as she tries to protect herself from being hurt by another, however, she is kind-hearted despite her cold skin, and also rebellious in nature. She tends to get herself into trouble, and she likes it. She is the typical 'class skipper', with a bit of generousity included.
She may seem mean, cold, selfish, and as if she finds herself to be 'all that and a bag of potato chips', but if given time with a person, the people she is with will notice she is actually very kind, sweet, selfless, and oddly rambunctious. She will often break rules, but she will also be blamed for breaking rules she never has broken. She will say she broke a rule if she had, but she will not confess with a lie.
If somebody she knows is being 'messed with', or bullied, she will jump in to help them, even if she hates them. She is very opinionated though, so if it is just an oral argument, she won't say anything unless one side makes a good point.
Despite Ame skipping school and putting on a facade of being a terrible student, she is incredibly smart, but afraid to show it off to her fellow students. She believes she will be accepted into their society easier if she shows that she doesn't care about school.

The family who had adopted her were made to believe that she was human, and thus she was raised as such. Growing up in a human world, living with humans, she didn't know about her powers until her thirteenth birthday.
On her thirteenth birthday, Ame got a hamster. It was a cute orange one, with big black eyes, which she named spice. While she was playing with Spice, the hamster froze and died in her hands. Her parents were shocked, as was Ame. As her parents were comforting Ame over the loss of her brand new pet, telling her they would get her a new one, her mother touched Ame's hand in a comforting way. She jumped back, gasping. Ame's skin was freezing cold, but Ame told her that she felt slightly warm. After this happened, and other strange occurances, Ame's parents decided to try to hide her, having her home-schooled and pulling her away from society.
When Ame was seventeen, she moved to an apartment of her own, planning on returning to her parents once she turned nineteen so she can experience life as an adult before being sealed away from society once again. Over the years, she wore mittens in order to save things from freezing. Luckily the only incident was when her mother touched her skin and she got a bit of hypothermia. Ame was able to live as a human in her own apartment, and experience life as an adult before she became one. She could even keep a plant alive! She felt happy, but lonely.
One day, a man came to her apartment, saying he was there to make sure her windows were working. She thought it was strange how nobody told her he was coming, but she agreed. As soon as Ame closed the door behind him as he entered, he had a knife to her throat. He was attempting to rob her, and he wanted her to be quiet about it. Unfortunately for him, Ame wasn't happy with the idea of being robbed, and she shoved her bare hands against his neck. He dropped the knife out of shock, and the fought. Ame kept her hands against him for too long, and his heart stopped.
Having murdered a man by accident, Ame ran. She didn't do the smart thing, and didn't call anybody. She grabbed her calla lily plant, packed some clothes, and ran out of there. The body was eventually found, but Ame wasn't. She wasn't staying anywhere near that place, and moved to Virginia, where she had heard of a school that was a sort of safe haven for people like her.
