Perhaps he as overthinking things it was a library study session – it wasn’t as though he’d asked Owen to a dance or on a date. So why his entire wardrobe was sprawled in a messy mountain across his bedroom floor was beyond him – he just couldn’t shake the excited feeling of butterflies at the prospect of seeing the beautiful siren boy again. Owen had been so sweet at the fountain, and Alex blushed as he remembered the compliments Owen had paid him – suddenly feeling guilty over the lack he’d given the Siren in return… He’d just been so shell shocked over the fact that somebody could possibly find him attractive (or as Owen had called him) gorgeous... Holding up his favourite red checked shirt he shrugged at Grey who sat haphazardly on his side of the room away from the bombsite that made up Alex’s half.
“Does that make me look chubby?” he asked “I mean I like red, I look good in red, but still chubby is not good – oh god I can’t wear this.” He suddenly said before he frowned at himself.
“Oh my god I’m ridiculous, why am I freaking out, I’m going to the library not to dinner.” he said. Greyson shrugged and returned to his DS.
“Yeah, real helpful dude.” Murmured Alex sourly before he picked up the exact same shirt but in blue – “I like this one.”
Finally he’d made it out of the dorm room with his history books in tucked under his arm and a hand trying to tame his messy hair he was slowly becoming a nervous wreck in skinny grey jeans. The clock read quarter to six and as he approached the big library doors and stepped inside he suddenly felt his nerves disappear, dissipating into complacent lull as he made his way to one of the tables. The very thought of seeing Owen again was as calming as it was nerve wracking and as he settled his books down – and reorganized them twice he excitedly waited for Owen to arrive.
