Nicholas is actually a very caring and kind person, although his self defense mechanism can be rude and ill-mannered. (but what do you expect when you are shipped off to a boarding school at the age of 10? ) He enjoys social interaction, although his slight awkwardness hinders his ability to make friends. In his human form, he in notoriously clumsy, tripping and stumbling constantly. Also, when nervous her develops a slight stutter/slur, This although a bit funny, causes him to be more nervous, thus causing the stutter to get worse until he can no longer speak and has to excuse himself to recover and try again. This adorable dork just wants to hang out with friends. Ever since her was 14, he has been out of the closet, quite open about the fact that he is gay. In the human world, this led to some problems in the friend making area, although, Gay marriage was legal in the area he lived in, it still wasn't accepted by all, and children can be cruel.Likes:
When he finds a close friend, he can be very protective, willing to put himself in harms way to protect those he cares about. He's also known for carrying injured friends in his Griffin form when they are unable to travel.
As much as he helps his friends, he is still Deathly afraid of Thunder. This has been diagnosed as Keraunophobia. His initial Instincts are to leap into the arms/laps of the closest friend/not enemy. Curling into a ball or just pressing as close as he possibly can, usually burrowing his face into their neck.
Making friends- His friendly nature craves human contact, but his awkwardness and slight shyness make this difficult.
Socializing: Again, since he was a young teen, he was ostracized by his own Sexual orientation, But he still craves the closeness
Flying: In his Griffin form, he absolutely loves to fly, the freedom, nothing to trip over, it takes his normal clumsiness, and transforms into grace
Dislikes:
Math: Math has never been his strong suit. Always causing him stress.
Water: At the age of 16 he was ganged up on and nearly drowned an a small lake. Terrified ever since.
Mean individuals: He can take good natured sarcasm and sass, but if you are legitimately being rude and mean, he will stand up for himself and whoever you might be bullying

Nick's first impressions are tall, skinny, raven curls and high cheekbones. Now these are all very accurate, but there is so much more! His usual attire consists of suits, and or button down shirts and slacks. Although, if you get close enough, when hanging out, he tends to dress down a bit. Sometimes even hanging out shirtless with baggy sweatpants.
His skin is quite pale, but not sensitive. And while his cheekbones do draw a lot of attention, his eyes are a masterpiece. Shifting in color from blue to green and anywhere in between. Now his hare has natural curls and adorns a dark raven black color.

Harsh weather can also cause his forms to shift, If he finds himself in a freak winter storm, or trapped in a freezing situation, his form will shift to his winter form, which consists of more fur to keep him warm.
Abilities:Up until the age of 10 Nick Had a normal life. Although he had been adopted, but it was still a good life. Loved by both his parents, his older sister, and younger brother. But all that seemed to vanish when it happened. It started like a regular day, but when Nick saw a young girl being ganged up on by a group of older boys, he had to step in. He slipped in quickly, pulling the girl behind him and facing the group of 12 year olds. As the group lunged at him, he blocked them, letting the young girl escape while taking on the 4 boys himself. This of course was an impossible task for the shy child. But once the group had him on the ground, something happened.
A ripple of heat seared through his body, leaving him trembling but unhurt by the boys constant fists and feet. With a muscle spasm he sent the boys flying, his body shifted into that of a griffin. A young griffin at that, but his wings were still strong enough to flare out and knock the boys back. Nick was quickly grabbed by is terrified father and dragged into the house. He then was able to shift back into his human form, where the young thing started sobbing. His mother and father had no idea what had happened to their adopted son, but they reached an agreement to send him off to a boarding school in the next town over, London.
Once at the school, he found it more and more difficult to control his shifting. Made even worse once puberty hit, hormones, drama, and the personal discovery of his S.O. made it quite difficult to control when he shifted. At the age of 17, he became close friends with a 15 year old names Daneel. Danni and him met one night when there was no moon in the sky, The darkness had given Nick the security to escape his room and shift into his Griffin form. Flying through the night sky, all seemed perfect until he collided with something. The two figures crashed, both plummeting to the ground, Nick landing in a heap of feathers, while the other thing seemed to be... cursing? He looked up, tilting his head as the figure stood up. She had wings?! He gasped as he recognized the female. They had a few classes together.
They quickly became friends, finding another creature seemed to be the best thing that had happened to Nick since he had been Shipped off. But it of course didn't last. He was found by a School for creatures and was transferred to their grounds, leaving his friend behind. This was two years after meeting the young Dragon lord, and he still wonders how she is doing.
